Privacy Policy

QWERTYS is a casual game published by Smart Keys ("we", "us"). We built it to be played, not to harvest your data. This policy explains what the game does and does not collect, on both the web and the iOS app.

The short version: We don't ask you to sign up, we don't run advertising or third-party analytics trackers, and we don't sell your data. Your scores and settings stay on your own device.

Information we collect

We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, contacts, location, or photos. The game has no account or login.

The game stores a small amount of data locally on your device (using your browser's local storage) so it can work the way you'd expect:

Your high score and recent scores
Settings such as sound and haptics (vibration) on/off
A saved game so you can resume where you left off

This information never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us. Clearing your browser data, or deleting the app, removes it.

Game Center (iOS app)

If you play the iOS app and are signed in to Apple Game Center, your game score is submitted to the QWERTYS leaderboard so it can be ranked against other players. Your Game Center nickname and score may be visible on that leaderboard.

This feature is provided by Apple. The data is handled under Apple's Privacy Policy. You can turn Game Center off in your device's Settings, and you can play the game without using it.

Third-party services

To load the game, your device requests a few standard resources from content delivery networks (for web fonts and a small visual-effects library). These providers may receive your device's IP address as part of serving those files, which is how the web works; we do not use them to track or profile you.

Links inside the game that point to our other products may include a basic source tag (for example, "came from the game") so we can understand which of our pages people visit. This does not identify you personally.

Children's privacy

QWERTYS is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the game collects no personal information from anyone, there is nothing for us to gather from a child either.

Data security & retention

Since the game keeps its data on your device, you remain in control of it. We do not hold a copy on our servers. Leaderboard data submitted through Game Center is retained by Apple under their terms.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected here on this page.
